In this dark and cozy night
All the stars shine so bright
I’m looking for a dance, in this poem I write
But maybe I can’t because of fright

Fear to be rejected, that’s right
Turn me down or refuse they might
Like Superman weakened by kryptonite
I have no strength left to fight

But now the feeling is oh so right
Looking at you is just delight
I fell the need for me to quite
Enjoy this dance with you tonight

When you accepted my hand that night
I felt like flying just like a kite
My head is swirling, my mind’s at flight
I’ll put my hands around you so tight

Now for me there is no fright
For you have been my only light
When I danced with you and with just one sight
You make everything feel so right
